When you scan a job posting, the extension sends two things to our server (skillsy.my.id): the text extracted from your CV, and the text of the job posting you are viewing. Our server forwards this to our AI provider (Groq) to generate the match score, skill gap, and suggestions. The CV text itself is processed in memory only; it is never written to a database, stored, or used to train models. Separately, we keep fully anonymized market statistics with no identity attached: the job title, detected seniority, the score, and which skills were required. Nothing that can identify you.
If you join our waitlist, we store your email address solely to send you your beta invitation and occasional product updates. You can ask us to remove it at any time.
